This is perhaps only the place to see Tibetan culture in completely undisturbed state the houses and monasteries have medieval look and unique local architecture. Mostly those are built with stone and sun baked mud bricks. Here mostly grow potatoes, barley and buck wheat and about 2’600 sq km in area and 6’500 population.
