Arrival in Kathmandu (1350)
Arrival in Kathmandu airport, Meet our representative and welcome then transfer the hotel. -
Drive to Sundarijal and trek to Chisapani (2300m)
Breakfast at hotel and we take car/jeep for drive to Sundarijal takes about one hour. From Sundarijal, trek to Chisopani (2300m). We begin our Helambu trek along a small hydroelectric plant. We then enters through into the Shivapuri National Park. The first settlement we come across is Mulkharka mostly inhabited of Tamang people. Then we walk along the ridge through a forest of oaks and rhododendron to Chisopani. -
Chisopani to Kutumsang (2446m)
Breakfast in the morning we then head for a journey to Kutumsang. The trek is slowlly decent crossing meadows and fields. Enjoy the magnificent views of the Langtang mountains. Thus we arrive at Pathi Bhanjyang and Gul Bhanjyang. From Gul Bhanjyang, the trail climbs the ridge to another pass and takes us to Kutumsang. -
Kutumsang to Thadepati (3650m)
Morning we climb to Kutumsang on a steep trail mostly through fir and rhododendron forest where there are no permanent settlements. The trek continues to Yurin Danda with magnificent views of the Himalayas. Finally, we arrive at Tharepati for our overnight stay. -
Thadepati to Tarkeghyang (2560m)
Morning breakfast we then head for Tarkeghyang. During early part of the trek, the trail descends until we cross the Melamchi Khola. Then we trek up to Tarkeghyang passing through Sherpa settlements. Enjoy the Himalayan peaks ofter appear before you glistening in the sunshine. Discover the village and its monastery which is one of the oldest and biggest monasteries in the region. The village is more popularly known as Helambu. -
Tarkeghyang to Sermathang (2610m)
Today we hike and corss deep forests, streams and waterfalls. The trail makes a sweep around the wide valley end between Parachin and the Sherpa village of Gangyul. From Gangyul, we arrive at Sermathang. Discover the village, there is also a Buddhist monastery at the highest point of the Sermathang village. -
Sermathang to Malemchi Bazaar And Drive to Kathmandu
The final day of the Helambu trek, we walk down to Malemchi Bazaar. The village is mostly inhabited by the Tamang and Sherpa, but there are also people of other ethnicities. From the Bazaar, we catch a bus to Katmandu. -
Kathmandu City Tour
After Breakfast at hotel we start Kathmandu sightseeing tour including Shyambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Buddhanath Stupa and Durbar square. These places are the UNESCO world heritage sights in Kathmandu valley. -
Kathmandu Departure
Breakfast at hotel then three hours before of your flight, we drive to Kathmandu airport for your departure at home.

When should we make this trek?
Better to do this trek from March to May and from September to December. It gets hot and warm in May, just before the monsoon season, be prepared for possible rain. In December, reaches below -0° temperatures but the days are still beautiful and there are fewer trekkers
Accommodation
The accommodation during the helambu trek will be tea house lodge. We will have deluxe room in Kathmandu with twin sharing basis. But few trekkers want to stay overnight in tentcamp. However we highly recommend to our visitor to stay at the tea house lodge.
