Fly Kathmandu to NepalgunjAfter breakfast, we go to domestic terminal for flight for Nepalgunj. It takes around 45 minutes to reach Nepalgunj. Our representative will pick you in airport and transfer to your Hotel, overnight stay at Hotel.
Fly from Nepalgunj to Simikot and Hilsa, drive to Taklakot (3400m)Early morning we take helicopter flight to Simikot and then fly to Hilsa (Nepal and China border). But before getting Hilsa, Helicopter must land at Simikot (the administrative head quarter of Northern frontier of Nepal) because the boarder immigration office of Nepal is situated here only and according to the regulation of Nepal, you must put exit stamp on your Passport before you leave for Tibet, China (Kailash). The entire formalities take about 30 to 45 minutes. After completing the formalities in Simikot, you continue our journey to Hilsa. Once you land at Hilsa, you cross the River Karnali through a suspension bridge and get entered to the China side then continue hike up to the 'Sher village'. The Chinese immigration Office and Boarder Check Post. It is situated in Sher village. Our vehicles are waiting there as well. The actual trek takes approximately 45 minutes to one hour to reach Sher village from the suspension bridge. Due to the different face of walking, it may take at least two hours to gather all group members and luggage in immigration office up in Sher. From Sher village it takes another an hour to reach Taklakot.
Rest Day in Purang (Taklakot) for acclimatizationToday, you will have rest in Taklakot for acclimatization purpose. In fact, you have gained an enormous height within a day while coming in Taklakot, so before making any further journey to the higher elevation, your body should be acclimatized properly with the atmosphere in high altitude. So, it is significantly important to spend a day here for your safety pourpose. However, we can also arrange a short visit to the Khojarnath temple (the ancient temple of Ram, Sita and Laxman) which is an optional program and you have to pay for transport (going and coming back) as well as the entrance fee of the temple. OR, you may stroll around the city on your own and visit the ruins of ancient Taklakot. Khojarnath temple: Khojarnath temple is the ancient temple of Ram, Sita and Laxman. The temple (Monastery) is 1100 years old. - Takalakot to Khojarnath temple: 45 minutes (one way) by Jeep.
Drive from Purang to Mansarovar (4560m)Early morning (after breakfast) you will depart for Lake Mansarovar. Your Kailash Parikrama begins today. We drive for about 75 km to Mansarovar via Rakshash Tal. We will have a short break in Rakshas Taal (Lake Ravana) to take some pictures & observe the sceneries. After taking a short break in Rakshas Taal, you will continue your journey to Lake Manasarover. This route takes us to the beautiful and sacred Mansarovar Lake set amidst extraordinary landscape. After taking a holy bath and performing Puja, we perform Parikrama at the sacred Mansarovar. From this vantage point, we can even get a glimpse of the majestic Mount Kailash. This journey leaves us spiritually fulfilled.
Drive from Manasarovar to Darchen- Yam Dwar and Trek to Deraphuk (4920m)After performing Puja and taking a holy dip in the Lake, we drive to Yam Dwar (4750m), the auspicious gateway to the Parikrama (circuit) around Mt. Kailash. As well as, this is the sky burial sites of local Tibetan people. From here, you can see the closest view of Mt. Kailash. Also, this is the particular place from where the group normally splits in two parts. Those, who are willing to perform the holy circumambulation around the Mt. Kailash will start trekking from "Yama Dwar" and the rest of the people who are not willing to go for trekking will return Darchen on Jeep and wait for others to come. The trail to Deraphuk is easy & flat however because of the high elevation, you will find difficulty to walk. The total journey to Deraphuk Gompa (4890m/18 km) Requires a 5 to 6 hours respectively. However, it depends on your pace.
Trek to Zutrul Phuk (4780m) Via Dolma Pass (5600M)Early morning start up hill trekking to Dolma-La (5600m). This is the toughest day of this journey. The entire trail up to Dolma-La is gradually up and from here the trail rapidly drops down to the next valley floor (Zutulphuk). The holiest water pool (glacial lake - Gauri kunda) is just situated beyond this pass. This is the lake, people believe, where Parvati, the consort of Lord Shiva used to take bath. After making down hill trek to the valley (the next side of the high pass), the trek up to Zutulphuk Gomba requires another two hours. Deraphuk to Zutrul phuk Gomba - 9 hours. Those who are not performing Parikrama can rest at Lake Mansarovar or take optional tour to Astapath, Thirthapur, etc. at their own expense.
Parikrama ends then drive towards Purang (4200m)Today is the final day for Parikrama. After completing Parikarma, you will be drive back to Purang (Taklakot). Refresh and drive to Sher. After completing immigration formalities, walk down to Hilsa (45 minutes).
Fly from Hisha to Nepalgunj via Simikot and Nepalgunj to Kathmandu connection Flight (2950m)After breakfast, you will be flying to Simikot by Helicopter flight to Nepalgunj via Simikot. From Nepalgunj airport catch connecting flight to Kathmandu. You will be met on airport and transfer to your hotel. You can spend the free time shopping for souvenirs or as you like in Kathmandu.
Final Departure or another tour programmeAfter breakfast, you have some free time until the time to leave the international airport for your final departure Or you may explore other tour programme in Nepal like Pokhara, Chitwan, Nagarkot or Lumbini.

Introduction and Overview
Kailash Mansoravar tour is one of the most demanding and challenging holiday trip for pilgrims in the world. The trip begins from Kathmandu for flight to Nepalgunj and next day fly to Simikot. take helicopter ride from Simikot to Hilsa. After entering Tibet we will drive to Mansarovar. Tibetian Buddhist call 'Precious Jewe' for Mt. Kailash and they also make many circumambulations in order to achieve enlightenment. To complete the Kailash pilgrimage, one should bathe in the sacred Mansarovar Lake, which lies only 30km from Mt Kailash. According to Hindu Mythology, it was formed in the mind of Brahma and the Goddess Parvati is believed to have taken the form of the Mansarovar Lake. Even drinking the waters of the lake frees a human being from sins of all kind as well as illness. Myth has it that the Gods come to bathe every morning in this lake between three to 5 am at this time is called 'Brahmamuhurta'. Another legend has it that Parashuram's ashram is situated on a hill, on the banks of Mansarovar Lake.
