Introduction and Overview

The Kathmandu city and Chitwan National park tour begains with the Kathmandu sightseeing tour, It is very rich in culture, art and heritage in the world. We will visit UNESCO world heritage sights including Bhaktapur Durbar square, Boudhanath - the largest Boudha stupa in the world, The Pashupatinath (Temple of Lord Shiva) and Patan Durbar square. We also visit Nagarkot. Nagarkot is 35 km east from Kathmandu at the altitude of 2170m, can see the beautiful Himalayan range.

We drive to Chitwan National park for wildlife safari tour. It is 160 km south-west from Kathmandu, one of the richest and most well known wild life reserves in Asia, is situated 165 km south-west of Kathmandu. The Chitwan National park is also listed on UNESCO Natural World Heritage Sites which covers an area of 932 sq. km and conserves more than 43 species of mammals, 450 out of total estimated 750 specifies of birds in Nepal, many varieties of butterflies and 45 species of amphibians and reptiles. Here we can enjoy with jungle activities like Elephant Ride, Canoe trip, Birds watching and Tharu culture dance.

Arrival Kathmandu

You will welcome you at Kathmandu airport by Everest Trek member and transfer to Hotel. Evening short briefing about the trip
Kathmandu City Tour and Nagarkot

Kathmandu, the historical and cultural heart of Nepal. It it very popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. The city presents a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence in the Valley. There will be a half day guided tour to the famous and biggest Hindu shrine of Pashupatinath, the largest Buddhist stupa in World Boudhanath and Patan Durbar square. We then drive to Nagarkot to see the sunset and sunrise view over the Himalaya.
Nagarkot to Chitwan National Park

Breakfast in the morning then drive to the Chitwan National Park, one of the best preserved of the nationals parks in Asia, habitat of the Royal Bengal Tiger and the One-horned Indian Rhinoceros. Check into the Jungle Resort and Proceed for a wide range of safari activities like Elephant ride, jungle walks, and canoe ride in pursuit of myriad flora and fauna. In the evening you are entertained by cultural program and a bonfire during winter.
Wildlife activities

Canoe ride along the Rapti River. While canoeing you can view various species of birds on the bank of river. When you back to your lodge you can visit National Park Visitor Center where you can get detail information about National Park. In the afternoon you can also enjoy the elephant bathing.
Chitwan to Kathmandu

Birds watching early morning then we will have breakfast, then we drive to Kathmandu. Check-in at the hotel. Evening farewell dinner party.
Departure Kathmandu

After breakfast in the hotel, we will transferred you to the Tribhuvan International airport in Kathmandu to board the flight to your onward destination. Leave with happy memories of Nepal.
